Similar to the above easter egg, in the Reignited version of Mystic Marsh from Spyro 2, the local lemurs now throw Wumpa Fruit. There's a second spot to see this in the square pit just after the Dragon Eldrid in the last third of the level. If you watch them from afar, the Druid will feed the Beast a Wumpa Fruit from the previous year's Crash Bandicoot N. In the Reignited version of the Spyro the Dragon Level Alpine Ridge, there's a Beast at the start of the level standing next to a ledge with an Armoured Druid on it. The fact that it's on a mystical staff may be a coincidental reference to the game Insomniac developed before Ratchet but eventually cancelled, codenamed Girl With A Stick. In the Reignited Trilogy, the Dragon Jed in the Spyro the Dragon level Tree Tops has a staff with blades on the top that look just like the ears of Insomniac's other famous platforming protagonist created after Spyro, Ratchet of Ratchet & Clank fame. In the PS1 version of the Spyro 2, the coins instead have the face of the late Dan Johnson, a beloved developer at the studio. Insomniac are the creators of Spyro, and of the games that were remade for the Reignited Trilogy. In the Reignited version of Mystic Marsh from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, the coins in the water fountain (as well as the one it gives you in the Professor's Pencil Challenge) are embossed with the moon from the Insomniac Games logo that was used from 2002 to 2018. This is a reference to a Reddit user "thechronoshadow", whose mother was diagnosed with cancer in mid-2018: chronos asked for her name to be placed somewhere in Year of the Dragon as an acknowledgement of that being the first game she ever bought for him, which they would play a lot together. In the Midday Gardens Home of Year of the Dragon, the room where your Transporter craft arrives in has four paintings of the various denizens of the Midday Garden Worlds, all of which feature the name "Parvinder".
